Bio
I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Biotechnology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). My thesis project consists of developing a non-invasive diagnostic device for opioid exposed neonates.
I was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I decided to stay in-state during my undergraduate career, attending Tuskegee University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating from Tuskegee University, I received my Master's of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Brown University.
A fun fact about me is that my brother and I have the same birthday. I am the oldest, and he is the youngest, so it forms a complete circle.
